| Description |
Our two females are hypos double het. for sunglow, comes from my friend Clay Valeri. They are born from breeding a female hypo dbl. het./sunglow and an albino male. In the four phenotypic forms usually found in such a combination type, all non hypo specimens (het./albinos and albinos) present on their back the classical saddles found in the common columbian boa. However, in the others with a hypo gene (double hets and sunglow), the back does feature, instead of the classic saddle, round shapes similar to river pebbles. We decided to call them "Pebble boas" |
